About Hampshire Learning
Our material is based on the national curriculum and encourages students to learn in an engaging manner, suited to their individual needs. By using examples, detailed explanations and practice, we see our students’ confidence go from strength to strength with each session.
The manager has over twenty-five years teaching and tutoring experience, holding several teaching qualifications and a Master’s degree. She has gained valuable experience working within schools, colleges, universities and other establishments, both within the UK and overseas.
Tuition for all ages and levels
Ranging from Key Stage 1 - Key Stage 4 (Reception - Year 11), we specialise in one-to-one support for every one of our students, teaching a range of levels and abilities. We tutor English, maths and science for every school year group and also provide key preparation for the big exams:

YEAR 2 SATS
YEAR 6 SATS
GCSE

Our ethos is that the earlier children begin to prepare for these, the better. With focus on strengthening their foundation knowledge throughout earlier years to build confidence, we are able to familiarise them with the key skills and techniques they will need in exams.
Build study confidence & self-esteem
Enhance independent study & exam skills
Improve school performance
Sessions run from thirty minutes to one hour, depending on age, level and subject choices. Learning in set intervals such as this, helps children to apply their knowledge to long-term memory, allowing for their progress to continue for many years to come.

We also set work for students to take home and complete in short bursts throughout the week, so that they can learn to challenge themselves and take pride in their independent learning. All students are given full guidance with their homework before they leave their session - no parent input or marking is required. We encourage students to complete their own homework. Our tutors mark and go over the work with the students, so that they can see their progress and take their learning even further, as well as fully understand where errors have been made.
